As part of the Education, Leisure and Lifelong Learning Directorate, we work in partnership with the Library Service. We will be encouraging you to utilise the public Library Services in your study.

The Port Talbot Library contains a section dedicated to books for Lifelong Learning Service candidates and it has a small selection of publications in the following disciplines:

Publications can be accessed by becoming a member of the library, the process of which will be communicated to you by your course tutor at the start of your course.

Publications can be borrowed for a period of one month.

Additionally, Lifelong Learning Service subscribes to journals in Management, Health and Safety, Personnel, Training and Development and Psychology.

Learners can also use the facilities for accessing the World Wide Web and various electronic information systems such as Croner.

Small amounts of photocopies of articles etc. can be made, providing that the source of the material is acknowledged. The programme leader will advise you of the process.
